  3. Pentax Part Numbers • Lens example C70315HK • C All Pentax parts start with C • 7 Indicates the lens format (this is 1/3”) • 03 Indicates the starting focal length (this is 3-8mm) • 15 Indicates the version number (this is the 15th) • HK Represents the iris and lead type (this is DC)

Did you know… • An independent test showed some brand manufacturers vari-focal lenses produced below 510TVL (Pentax is 510-550TVL) • Today’s CCTV cameras produce 520-560TVL, so these lenses reduce the cameras image quality • Computar and Fujinon only correct their D/N zoom lenses at 850Nm, so… • Using anything except an 850Nm IR lamp with these is a waste of money • Pentax’s IR zoom is correct throughout the spectrum, so will work with all IR lights
