  2. CALL TO WORSHIP Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. PRAYER OF APPROACH

  15. Known God The Father Who Disciplines

  16. God- the Father who carries his children, in whom we can trust (Deut 1:30-31) God- the Father who disciplines his children, in whom we recognise His true love (Deut 8:2-5) God- the Father who pities his children, to whom we are grateful (Psalm 103:8-14). God- the Father who adopts us in whom we have redemption, forgiveness of sins and eternal security (Psalm 68:4-6).

  17. Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the wilderness these forty years, to humble and test ... Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the Lord your God disciplines you.” (Deut 8:1-5).

  18. Here is God, our Loving Father who disciplines us, for our benefit and learning. We would be wise if we recognize His love that motivates it.
