The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) • The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) collects information annually from first-year and senior students. • It assesses the extent to which undergraduate students are involved in educational practices empirically linked to high levels of learning and development. • Since 2000, 1522 North American colleges/universities participated in NSSE. • Approximately, 3.2 million students completed the survey. • Qatar University (QU) participated in the NSSE in 2008, 2009 and 2012. • Since 2008, a total of 1202 freshmen and 1032 seniors completed the survey.
