Result for USA medals: • Golds: 16 gold medals • Silver: 8 silver medals • Bronze: 6 bronze medals News: • At August 3rd 2012, Teenager Katie Ledecky produced the second fastest 800m Freestyle in history to take gold for the USA. • At August 3rd Michael Phelps won the 17th Olympic gold medal of his career.

  3. Football • Who have the most medals is Brazil • The total of medals that Brazil got are 2, 1 bronze and 1 silver. News: • At August 4th 2012, Leandro Damiao fired Brazil into the men's semi-finals as they overcame a major scare against nine-man Honduras to win 3-2

  4. Basketball • Who got the most medals is United States of America. • Medals result: Gold: 2 medals Silver:0 medal Bronze:0 medal • News: • Kobe Bryant showed his class at the USA overcame Australia to set up a semi final clash with Argentina in the men’s basketball competition.

Canoe Sprint • Who got the most medals is German. • Medals result: Gold: 3 medals Silver: 2 medals Bronze: 1 medal • News: It was another good day for Germany at Eton Dorney as they took gold in the men’s canoe double (C2) 1000cm and women’s (K2) 500m while Australia and hungary also won gold.
