  1. Can We Make Paint From Cow Dung? Let’s Answer That UECIN

  2. Introduction Often people say that no matter what, at least cow dung could not be used to create paints. But do you know that there actually exist such paints that are made from cow dung slurry? Well yes, that’s a fact. In the year 2021, India was fortunate to launch its very first natural and environmental-friendly paint, made with cow dung. It was named the Khadi Prakritik Paint.

  3. About The Prakritik Paint This paint is one of a kind paint that is rich in anti-bacterial properties. Since it is free from harmful toxicants, chemicals, and heavy metals, this is termed a 100% eco-friendly product. The procedure of making this paint is not difficult. At first, the cow dung slurry is prepared using a cow dung refiner for Prakratik paint. It is after being refined via this triple disc refiner, that the raw material is converted into the desired pulp for paint making.

  4. Application It could be used on the walls and therefore comes in two forms namely, plastic emulsion paint and distemper paint.

  5. Why Prakritik Paint Since its inception, the Prakritik paint has been both adopted and disgusted by the people of India. However, if we talk about sustainability, this natural paint can easily go long. Pasting cow dung cakes has been an age-old tradition in India. Since the old times, it is known to maintain temperature, keep insects/mosquitoes/bacteria away due to its antibacterial properties, manure for crops, and even cook food. Moreover, the development of natural paint will also minimize imports, create markets for the locals, generate employment opportunities, and also promotes sustainability.

  6. Conclusion Sourcing a refiner for cow dung slurry is easy and affordable when you connect with UEC. and not just that, we also house a number of other pulp refining and testing units. To name a few, there is a floatation cell, hydra pulper, lab PFI mill, freeness tester, wet web strength tester, and so on. Visit the website today to explore more these instruments.
