RECOMMENDATIONS • A commitment and vision towards the elimination of VAWG. • National VAWG strategy grounded in a human rights and equality framework, providing a seamless implementation of VAWG strategies. • Creative and innovative provision with specialised, holistic, long term gender responsive services. • Individualised, wrap around service delivery based on available resources and meeting cultural expectations.

RECOMMENDATIONS • Multidimensional responses embedded within an equalities framework that considers and responds to differing complexities and needs. • International forums to establish best practice guidelines, advising on minimum standards for VAWG service delivery. • A programme of campaigns to gain grass roots activism engaging the community to raise the profile on the unacceptability of VAWG.
