ReCap • 6th IoT WG Meeting, Neemrana, Rajasthan • Version control in TR documents need to be maintained • Details of Sensors/Devices need not be discussed under IoT WG • References need to be included in all documents • Addressable sensors need to be discussed only • Interfaces of the IoT Architecture was discussed thoroughly • Use case on landslide detection was also discussed • Requirement of more interactions amongst the work group members. One telecon in each month in between the physical meetings has been proposed. GISFI # 07, Dec 19-22, 2011, New Delhi

Follow-up Actions after 6th GISFI Meeting • Comments/feedback was sought on the MoM of 6th IOT WG Meeting • NEC and Ericson Responded • Telecon was arranged on 17th Nov, 2011 • Points discussed/agreed on telecon • Capturing the content in an approved standard format. • The format of the TR document needs a re-visit • IoT architecture requires formalization • Different architectures can be discussed before finalizing the IoT architecture • More case studies can be considered • Some case studies can be published by IoT WG • Detailed interface requirements and standard specification required • More efforts required to gather more inputs towards ToC for architecture specification document • Inputs towards IoT framework document desired GISFI # 07, Dec 19-22, 2011, New Delhi

Follow-up Actions after 6th IoT WG Meeting • Attended JCA-IoT ITU-T meeting on 28th and 29th Nov, 2011 • Presentations were on the recent updates of ITU-T Study Groups. • Other forums/SDOs such as ETSI, GISFI, IERC, CEN, EPC Global, OGC, BBF, ISO/IEC JTC-1/SC-31, WG-7, SC-6, etc., presented their status report. • Since most of the forums/SDOs presented different versions of definitions of IoT, GISFI raised this point in the discussion. • There were consensus on this, the Chair and other members have agreed to bring a common IoT definition in the next meeting – TCS can take this up on behalf of GISFI • GISFI Presentation • A formal word document on the status of IoT WG was desired. • Chair and other participants suggested, that, since GISFI has already contributed one use case on mHealth under IoT WG, it should contribute further to the requirement gathering of IoT Health Care and Monitoring (E-Health) use case under ITU-T – NEC can take this up on behalf of GISFI. • The next meeting of JCA-IoT will be held on 14-15th Feb, 2012.
