Future • Horizontal and vertical articulated maps • Status • 46 horizontal maps complete; 33 nearing completion (8/08) • Complete horizontal maps for all subjects/classes • Begin vertical articulation 08-09 • Informative, common assessment • Status • AIMS/Terra Nova = summative • 4Sight and Dibels = benchmark, predictive • Common formative measures to be developed beginning 08-09

Future • Personalized education • Demonstrated ability - not age – determines advancement; prevents “social promotion” • Vertical articulated curriculum maps and common formative assessments are prerequisites • Status • RISC model under investigation (see www.reinventingschools.org/ ) • Engage staff, students, parents and other constituents in dialogue
