Unity Care serves foster youth across a number of California counties, including El Dorado, Santa Clara, San Francisco, Placer, San Mateo, Monterey, Alameda and Nevada counties. Founded in 1993 by Andru00e9 Chapman, the organization was created to provide support, stable housing, caring connections, and life skills which assist youth as they transition out of the system and begin navigating the challenges of independent living. Unity Care Group serves youth ages 16 to 21.

A FOSTER YOUTH SUPPORT ORGANIZATION A FOSTER YOUTH SUPPORT ORGANIZATION A FOSTER YOUTH SUPPORT ORGANIZATION UNITY CARE IS A FOSTER YOUTH ORGANIZATION PROVIDING HOUSING OPTIONS TO YOUTH EMERGING FROM FOSTER CARE. THE GROUP WAS FOUNDED IN 1993 AND PROVIDES LIFE SKILLS, SUPPORT, STABLE HOUSING, CARING CONNECTIONS, AND OTHER PROGRAMMING TO ASSIST YOUTH IN ATTAINING SELF-SUFFICIENT LIVING.

  3. Founded By André Chapman Unity Care was established in 1993 by André Chapman. The organization is nationally accredited as a youth and family agency which approaches its work with focused, culturally proficient, and strengths- based care for each client. Unity Care’s goal is facilitating affordable, stable, and safe housing for youth, age 16-21, transitioning out of foster care.

  4. WON A NUMBER OF AWARDS UNITY CARE WAS FOUNDED BY ANDRÉ CHAPMAN IN 1993, AND IN THE NEARLY THIRTY YEARS IT HAS BEEN SERVING CALIFORNIA’S FOSTER ORGANIZATION HAS WON A NUMBER OF GRANTS AND AWARDS. IN 1997, UNITY CARE WAS RECOGNIZED BY 100 BLACK MEN OF SILICON VALLEY AS NONPROFIT OF THE YEAR. FROM 1993 THROUGH 1998, THE ORGANIZATION OPENED FOUR HOUSES TO SUPPORT FOSTER YOUTH TRANSITIONING FROM FOSTER CARE. YOUTH, THE

AN INDEPENDENT NONPROFIT ACCREDITOR OF HUMAN SERVICES Unity Care is a nonprofit service provider lending support to youth in foster care through housing solutions and other transitional services. The solutions are developed to support foster youth aging out of the system and reduce homelessness.Unity Care is nationally accredited by the Council on Accreditation, an independent nonprofit accreditor of human services.

  6. Group Promotes Unity And Effective Teamwork Unity Care is a foster youth support organization, and it was founded in 1993 by André Chapman. The group focuses on the housing needs of youth and families in foster care. It meets the personal needs of each of its clients, working collaboratively.
