  3. Rep. Cynthia Thielen presents Operation Teddy Bear idea to eighth grade students.

  4. Students ask questions, gather information and advice.

  5. Students brainstorm ideas and form task committees.

  6. Students outline their plans.

  7. Students design a bulletin board asking for donations.

  8. The community drops off donations in front of KIS on a rainy Saturday, October 22, 2005.

  30. “Donating toys is one little small factor, but it puts a big humanitarian face on what we do”, said Chief Warrant Officer Gregory Melotte, team commander. “It’s great to see little kids out here. We bring them things they haven’t had in a long time or never had, like school supplies or toys. The children of the country are the future. Those are the people we need to help.”
