  4. The Russian Five • SegeiFedorov • Drafted by the Wings 74th overall in the 1989 draft. He became one of the top all time points leaders in the Red Wings organization reaching 954 points in only 908 games with the team. • SlavaKozlov • Drafted in the 1990 draft, Kozlov debuted for the wings on march 12th with great success. He recorded two assists in his first ever NHL game. • VladamirKonstantinov • One of the best defenders ever to wear a Wings uniform, Konstantinov was tragically paralyzed in a limo accident six days after the Wings won the 1997 Stanley Cup. • Igor Larionov • During the years that he played with the Wings, Larionov received three Stanley Cups. After retiring he was named into the Hall of Fame. • SlavaFetisov • Fetisov was one of the first Russians to come to play in the NHL and greatly helped break the barrier that stopped other Russians from coming to play.
