Queen Mary’s College Conducted a study Highlights • 98% Students preferred new menu suggested by the College • Thiamine, Niacin deficiency is very minimal • Mild riboflavin deficiency is high • Iron Deficiency is high among girls . Gandhigram Rural Institute Highlights • The over all health status of children improved • Children have become energetic • The incidence of diseases has reduced • Children’s health and education improved. Grievance Redressal Mechanism • At State level Grievance Redressal Cell has been established. • A complaint register is also maintained by the Admin.Superintendent • Action is taken to get toll free number to make complaints by the public. • Very soon the Grievance Redressal Cell is also to be established at District/Block//Village school Level.
