CAD Packages/Systems for Building Services Systems • Lift traffic analysis and control, H/W control system models (e.g. Twin lift systems) or software CAD/simulation systems • Lighting systems & Control: H/W control system (e.g. DALI) or software CAD/simulation systems • Earthing Systems, software CAD/simulation systems • Communication protocol for building automation systems (e.g. translation between Mobus & LonWork)

  4. Renewable Energies • S/W Simulation/ H/W modelling on photovoltaic Systems/wind turbine generator • Application of AI techniques in optimal design of photovoltaic systems • Converter/inverter for grid connection of PV or wind power

  5. Power Electronic Devices & related areas • Intelligent battery chargers for different battery types, wireless battery chargers • Small scale single phase active filter • Data loggers for power quality measurements • Control & Inverter drives for motors

  6. Others • Automatic lighting measurement device for large areas
