  2. Philips IntelliVue G5 is compact, durable, and easy to maintain. The gas sensors in this anesthesia gas module do not have any such moving parts, and hence are pretty dependable. Zero calibrations are completed automatically during warm-up in this gas module, and it does have a wide range of mounting options.

  3. Waveforms for gases tend to be displayed on patient monitors. Philips IntelliVue G5 is ideal for lower-acuity settings, and is known to be available with advanced capabilities. This makes it practical for use in higher-acuity environments. Philips IntelliVue G5 can automatically identify agents and features mixed-agent measurement capability. The fast oxygen (O2) measurement based on advanced paramagnetic technology is included with the standard G5.
