  2. Synopsis • A versatile and fun multiplayer card game. • A strategic conquest game set in the reaches of a distance galaxy. • Available for computer online and as collectable card decks for tabletop play. • Extensible and simple, the game affords many marketing options.

  3. Story • Civil war rages across the distance galaxy of Far Reach. • Many planets and systems have been ravaged and burned by the ongoing war, leaving resources scarce and contested. • As a Battle Commander, you must amass a fleet and conquer your enemies to secure the survival of your civilization.

  4. Dramatic Arc • The enemy is amassing a sizable fleet near your home planet. • Resources are few, and a battle is inevitable. • If your civilization is to survive, you must conquer your enemies and become… master of the universe!

  5. Motivation • Strategy The best strategist will win the game. • Story Provide added stimuli for player’s imagination. • Versatility Play online with a friend or bring your card deck to play at school. A simple card game becomes an epic space war!

  11. Getting Started • Each player begins the game with a shuffled deck of 40 cards, consisting of: • Available Starships • Upgrades • Instant Bonuses • Game includes a 20 card event deck, containing events for: • Movement speed increases and decreases • Economic booms and shortfalls

Rules of the Game • Each player draws 5 cards from their play deck. • An event card is drawn to set the starting conditions. • Each turn consists of three phases: • Movement phase • Building phase • Combat phase • All players begin with 5 resource points, and gain gathered resources at the beginning of each turn.

The Turn • Movement Phase The player may move all ships in his fleet, where each ship can move as many locations as allowed by their movement. • Building Phase The player may spend resources to build new ships which appear at your home planet, or upgrading existing ships already in play. • Combat Phase If a player and the opponent occupy the same location, the player may attack contesting ships.
