  11. Hardware Group Pricing(for those who want to stay independent) • III pricing so assumes turn-key • Following institutions are on the list I sent to III. Cincinnati Christian John Carroll Terra Cincinnati State Lorain Akron Cleveland Clinic Oberlin Toledo Franklin Sinclair Xavier

  12. III Joint Software Purchase (all) • Here I will attempt to explain Tom’s email and the III Excel sheets (bear with me, please! • 1st Excel sheet: this is suppose to indicate what core modules you already have in telnet and what it would cost to upgrade to Millennium

  13. Hold on there’s more… • 2nd Excel sheet is suppose to represent what you do NOT have in telnet or in form of the core modules and what it would cost to BUY these modules • Assumption: It costs more to BUY than to UPGRADE

  14. Still more…. • Core modules are the following • MilCat • MilAcq • MilSer • Web Reports • Also Web OPAC and Adv Search

  15. Almost done… Besides the core modules, you can also purchase part of the discount, the following software Millennium Reports (100M)Millennium Web Access Management (201AM)AirPac (201AP)Reserve Book Room (303)Circulation Notices via Electronic Mail (305A)Electronic Ordering (Edifact) via File Transfer (408C)Materials Booking (300M) Note: ERM is not a part of this!

  16. Bottom Line…. • Decide which of the core modules you would like to either upgrade or buy • Decide which of the other modules you would like to also buy (call III for pricing) • After December 31, we add it all up and apply the discount price according…

  17. Discount Pricing Total orders of over $100,000 -- 10% Total orders of over $250,000 -- 20% Total orders of over $750,000 -- 30% This discount applies to everyone… joint system participants and anyone else wanting to upgrade software

  18. Shared III System Participants OhioNet should be sending out shortly the pricing for sharing jointly that will include the following. • Your share of the hardware cost • Your share of the III migration costs • OhioNet administrative overhead cost • Annual maintenance cost This will NOT include software upgrade costs.
