  5. 759 Documentation • Post the form in the beamline end cabinet. • Key #759 opens this cabinet. • Enter in the appropriate shift log: • Beamline • Desired gap or energy • Start and end time

  8. Open Shutter

  9. In case of difficulties… • If the shutter will not open, call the on-call Floor Coordinator for assistance in troubleshooting. • Possible FEEPS Fault • Possible PSS Minor Fault

  10. Check ID Gap

  11. Change ID Gap, if required If device is in System Manager mode, call ID on-call personnel.

  12. Documentation • Record activity in the appropriate shift log: • Document that the shutter was checked • Note whether it opened on its own or whether it had to be opened • Document that the ID Gap was checked • Note whether the gap had returned to the desired value or whether it had to be adjusted • Document any further action that was required • Calls to ID system personnel or the on-call Floor Coordinator
