  1. Adapt This! A project on how to adapt common items to assist students in the classroom. By: Elizabeth Greber and Emily Britton

  2. Flashlight Adapted With a Switch This flashlight was adapted to turn on and off with the touch of a switch. This could be used with a child who is non-verbal and needs to be able to signal that they would like to answer a question or tell you something.

  3. All About Me Button We recorded messages on the sequencer that would tell someone about me. This could be used with a child who is non verbal to interact with other people. They can share a little bit about themselves and ask others pre-recorded questions.

  4. Our Class Rules! We used the sequencer to record classroom rules. This could be used so the child can be reminded of the classroom rules.

  5. The Mitten with the Medley We used the medley to record events and characters in a story. This can be used with children who have a need to listen to a story in a different way. It will help them sequence the events in the story. You could even have them hit the button and match the character to that button. These could be made with Velcro for the student to take on and off.
