  1. Yuichi Yuchi is an inturned village boy,living besides a stretch of thericefields.Meanwhile,he is also a loyal fans of Lily Chou-Chou,a famous singer in Japan.He set up a website about Lily on the internet and run it as Philia. Yuchi is so addicted to Lily that he is always mixed with some bad boys doing some stealing on trains or in the video shop.

  2. Recently,Yuchi communicate a lot with a man named Green Cat on the website.Green Cat seems know anyhing about Lily,whom shares the same love with Yuchi. One day,hearing Lily publish new CDs,Yuchi plans to steal one in video shop as usuall.However,this time Yuchi was caught then and there and was sent to his school for education and criticism.Then, his teacher brought him home and help Yuchi pay for the CD.The evildoing in parents' and teachers' eyes is a purified heaven in boy's heart instead.

Hoshino Their friendship could go back to the beginnning of the high school.One year ago,Yuchi and Hoshino enter the same high school.At the opening ceremony,Hoshino represent whole group of freshman making speech.At that time,Hochino seemsvivid and hopeful.And he is a student of fine quality and fine scholar.Although Hoshino sometimes act in undue confidence of his ability and look down upon others ,he is always companied with Yuchi and supported by him.Howeve,this displeases other students and he is often bullied by others.

  4. In summer vacation,Hoshino lead to rub a rich man and use the money as traveling expenses to Okinawa Island.

During the trip,Hoshino experienced several dangerous situation and twice nearly died.At the first time,he is attacked by a tuna when they watch sea turtle lay eggs.The second time,he drown but is saved finally.Native villager says that a man has nine lives.If he do something evil and come to the island,he will be punished and lose his soul.Hoshino hasten to throw the money into the sea and leave the island .

  6. In new term,Hoshino almost changed to anotherman becoming rude and cruel.He beat a bully brutally in front of the whole class.Witnessing Hoshino's behaviours,Yuchi feels afraid and unfamiliar with him.So he left the team but also beaten bu Hoshino. Yuchi becomes more inturned and close the gate of his mind.Lily Chou-Chou and her music become his only heaven.
