  2. Performance 2008-2009 • Third child! • Peter (first Assessor) confirmed in post • 12% increase in turnover, after first fall in 07/08 • 37% increase in new work • 3 major ISO 9001:2008 seminars= 3 consultants & 2 clients • EMS/QMS Codes missing internally reduced by 25%

  3. Key Successes • First OHSAS Assessor approved and first OHSAS Client • Samglas Contract- 2nd Trade Organisation- 12 done, 21 to do • Quotes (from non-Painting/Altea companies) up 250% • First training job through New-Start Marketing Srategy

  4. Future Opportunities • New-Start Companies- 32 quasi-government organisations started to increase no. of companies starting-up • Government Depts- all (475) must have an EMS, Certified if the impacts are significant (as judged by Swedish EPA) • OHSAS- highest sickness rates in Europé in Sweden (& Finland) • AS- 225 Tier 2/3 suppliers in Sweden • ISO 14025/ Environmental Product Declaration. Government ’MUST’ purchase Green Products in line with EU • ISO 26000/ CSR. NQA Nordic to develop Certification Scheme based on BS8555 and aiming to set standard for companies wishing to ”Stand out from the Crowd”

Future Challenges • In-house competence and Assessor resource for different schemes • Diminishing supply chain (Swedish blue-chip and local authorities) pressure for Certification • Increasing popularity of local authority & other non-Accredited schemes, as well as expanding ’EPD’- based schemes (Nordic Swan, EU-flower) • Servicing International/ Global Companies (2 missed quotes 08/09)

  6. Targets for 2009-2010 • 10 OHSAS 18001 Clients • AS9100 Seminar + SAAB & 1 AS9100 Client • Resource to cover ISO 13485/BRC-CP, TL9000, ISO 22000/HACCP/BRC • Establish CSR-Criteria Working Group • Utilised in 3 new-start training programmes • Prepare proposal for EPD Accreditation • 10 new-sources for clients
