  2. History • Previous in-house solution circa 1994 • Desire for national consistency ~2004 • 2008 Decision to replace with a commercially available tool (Oracle) • Fell in line with Departmental strategy for asset management (Oracle purchased Feb 2009) • MSC went Live Feb 28, 2011

  3. Demonstration Slide 1 Will show how we search for our station meta data. All assets of Environment Canada are displayed. Slide 2 Additional information on the station are attributes. Slide 3 History of all sensors at the station are retrievable.
