I think “Hey Jude, The Beatles” reflects the times of the 1968’s because in the song he says, “Remember to let her into your heart.” I think that this is a love song. To me I think he’s talking about how he feels about a girl, and to never forget how to love. This song express a lot of emotions.

  5. Lyndon B. Johnson Born: August 27 at Stonewall , Texas President Johnson attended the launching of Apollo at Cape Kennedy, Florida. Apollo 11 carried astronauts Neil Armstrong , Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin, and Michael Collins toward the moon. It was the policy of military escalation in Vietnam, however, that proved to be Johnson’s undoing as president. It deflected attention from domestic concerns, resulted in sharp inflation , and prompted rising criticism, especially among young, draft-aged people. Escalation also failed to win the war. While Lyndon B. Johnson was in office the U.S. was involved in the Vietnam War.

  6. Main Characters : Jed , Granny , Elly May , Jethro , Duke , The Dry dales , and Jane The Genre : Comedy Plot : Move into a giant mansion , but still live like Hillbillies : they still dress in tattered ragged. My Opinion : Very funny , interesting , and Old School

  7. Muhammad Ali Boxer, philanthropist, social activist. Born Cassius Marcellus Clay, Jr. on January 17, 1942, in Louisville, Kentucky. Once one of the top American boxers, Muhammad Ali has shown that he is not afraid of any fight—inside or outside the ring. Growing up in the segregated South, Ali experienced firsthand the prejudice and discrimination that African-Americans faced during this era. At the age of 12, Ali discovered his talent for boxing through an odd twist of fate. His bike was stolen, and Ali told a police officer, Joe Martin, that he wanted to beat up the thief. "Well, you better learn how to fight before you start challenging people," Martin reportedly told him at the time. In addition to being a police officer, Martin also trained young boxers at a local gym. Boxing is a lot of white men watching two black men beat each other up.
