  2. Snacks for Holi 1. Bread Dahi Vada: Bread Dahi Vada, is just a tastier version of Dahi Bhalla or Dahi Vada. It is a delicious Indian snack, famous in the category of chaat. This dish is a delightful combination of smashed masala potatoes as a filling in bread shaped like a vada. It is topped with world-famous delicacies like tamarind and date chutney, mint (pudina) chutney along with a pinch of spices like Kashmiri chilli powder, dhania powder, and chaat masala.

  3. . 2. Thandai: The name itself gives a cooling effect to our souls. And when Holi is around, a cooling recipe like Thandai is meant to cross our minds. As Indians, we like to experiment with whatever food item is dear to us. So, with an array of recipes that are available across the internet, you can choose any that suits your taste. This mouth-watering beverage is made with milk and an assortment of spices that will keep you fresh in these spring-summer days.

  4. . 3. Puran Poli: This dish originates from the Southern India and is an Indian sweet flatbread. It is made with wheat flour and the filling includes smooth crushed chana lentil spiced with a pinch of cardamom, jaggery, ghee, and nuts according to personal choice. The filled dough is then rolled out gently and roasted with some ghee to make it extra nutritious. This dish is easy to make. It’s fuller, scrumptious, and light at the same time.

  5. . 4. Malpua: These are famous Indian pancakes. Malpua is a dish you can experiment with. Hot malpua can be served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or any flavored syrup you’d like. The ingredients to this dish include pancake-like batter, ghee to fry the malpua, sugar syrup, preferred nuts, and anything & everything else you’d like to garnish it with. It is a versatile Indian dish that allows you to experiment with it as you’d want.

  6. . 5. Rasmalai: No Indian festival is complete without Rasmalai. The creamy saffron and cardamom-induced milk are soaked by the shaped chenna. This sweet dish stands at the epitome of goodness for all the Indians across the globe. The chenna is finely rubbed on a flat surface till it comes together and forms a shape without falling apart. It is then boiled in sugar and cardamom-induced water. Once the chenna cools down, it is drowned in flavoredmilk.

  7. . 6. Suji Dhokla: Did you hear Gujarati? I said Dhokla. Dhokla is the most famous Gujarati snack. It is an evergreen and delightful snack that you can binge on anytime. This dish is an instant recipe that uses semolina as the main ingredient. The best part about it is that it is less time- consuming yet very scrumptious in every bite that you will devour.
