  5. With your elbow partner • Turn to the 3rd page of your Industry packet • Look at the document and answer the 3 questions that you see for the primary source. • Yes, use complete sentences

  6. Child Labor • 1. Child labor is an example from the Industrial Era found in the document. 2. The practice of child labor was made illegal because children were working in unsafe working conditions and not going to school. This photograph shows children working without shoes in a factory with machinery. 3. A child may perform a job like the one in the picture because they can fit in smaller places and be paid less in wages than adults.
