  4. eAccounts • eAccounts Release 1B (R1B) • Now in Production • Initial use raised some teething troubles that will be resolved • Upgraded testing and training environment being established for full rollout • UIB, Guy Carpenter & Price Forbes have begun the implementation process with a target live date of 3rd May • eAccounts Release 2 (R2) • Detailed review continues of functional specifications produced early 2010 • Assessment of impact will be produced once work is complete in 4 -6 weeks.

  7. Co-lead binders & ECF • Aim => to find the best method of allowing electronic processing of co-lead binders claims • Main obstacle to all new claims on ECF • Pilot approach being agreed • More news in coming months

  8. Non bureau progress • Pilot work starting involving Aon, Willis and 5ish company market insurers • Probably run parallel processes to start with • Some use of Exchange for messages • Will allow us to build compelling business case to encourage adoption

  24. Do we like eEndorsements? 24 • Honestly • Not a lot • Process is too clinical - Silent Broke • Not suitable for Negotiation • “Back dating is a real pain” • But • Saves time on simple Requests & Notices • Cuts down processing costs – scanning etc
