Newcastle University Student OratorsAre you a confident public speaker, planning to graduate in December 2012and interested in an opportunity to speak at one of the most important events in the University year? The University would like to appoint a number of final year Student Orators to deliver student-oriented, uplifting and engaging speeches at the Congregation Ceremonies in December 2012. You will be providing a unique contribution to make the day special and memorable for graduates and their guests. It will be an unforgettable experience for you, one which will undoubtedly enhance your c.vand you will receive a certificate as acknowledgement of your achievement. Together with some mementos of your graduation ceremony. Appointments to this prestigious position will be made by selection. We would like to encourage applicants from all schools so we have representation from a wide range of cohorts. If you are interested, please complete the form on the Congregations website*.After confirming your academic progress is satisfactory, we will invite you to audition before a small panel by speaking for 3 to 5 minutes on ‘What Graduation means to me’.
