  1. Introducing to the Life Science : Ayurveda Vedas and upnishads are the great literary resources where the unexplainable secrets of life exsists. Ayurveda; science of Life is one among the branches of the Vedas. It is regarded as upaveda of AtharvanaVeda. Ayurveda is the stream of knowledge coming down from generation to generation since eternity and itis a science laced with philosophy and spirituality. Ayurveda is an ancient medicinal science which is 5000 yrs old and is time tested. It also has deep attachment to the Indian traditions and cultures. Ayurveda can be addressed as the way of life rather a medicinal science, it helps one to understand life completely unlike knowing it materialistically. The complete analysis of life at physical, mental and even spiritual level is possible by the deep knowledge of the science;Ayurveda. Ayurveda stands as a unique health science, and is evident at narration of aim of the science. The main objective of the science is to promote the health of a healthy individual and prevention of the diseased condition rather curing the disease. The food and lifestyle according to Ayurveda is based on the individualistic approach towards the person unlike the nutritional supplementation to the physical body, this approach helps in bring wellness at all domains. Health is a condition of an equilibrium, harmony or balance of all the physiological activities of body and mind. Our physical body is composed of Tridoshas(Vata, Pitta andKapha), Dhatu (Tissues), and Malas(waste material). The activities of all these elements require the strength of digestive

Hence balance in bio-humours (tridosha), tissues (dhatu) & wastes (mala); good digestive power (Agni) and metabolic activity, positive and happy attitude in senses, mind and soul, indicates the healthy condition of any human being. According to Ayurveda, every human being has a typical constitution that decides the state of his/her health and predisposition to particular ailments. Being human is the only similarity but every human differ from their fellow humans in many aspects.By knowing one’s constitution one can plan their life style and diet schedule based on one’s own constitution which help to attain healthy life. The concept of ‘Dinacharya' or daily regimen helps to bring about peace and harmony in one's life. These regimen are meant to enhance the total health of the person at both mental and physical levels. They are easy to follow and are not liable to cause trauma of any kind to the body or mind. Similarly maintenance of health according to the season is also meant as an important concept in Ayurveda. Rtucharya is the seasonal regimen prescribed to prevent to ill-health that is possible due to the effect of seasonal variation to the body. Many more regimens such as sadvritta, acharyarasayana etc. are described in ayurvedicclassics which has to be necessarily incorporated into lifestyle for attainment of wellness.
