Fresno State Softball 2006. Meet It and Beat It!. The 2006 season started out kind of rough. One of the players, Rachel Donaldson, got diagnosed with Stage 4 Sarcoma. Not only was Rachel out for the season, she was now battling for her life. We were all there for her through everything.

  2. Meet It and Beat It! • The 2006 season started out kind of rough. One of the players, Rachel Donaldson, got diagnosed with Stage 4 Sarcoma. Not only was Rachel out for the season, she was now battling for her life. We were all there for her through everything.

  3. Show must go on… • Rachel’s diagnosis was a hard thing to swallow, but everyone knew how tough she was and that she was going to fight it. Everyone, including Rachel agreed we have a lot of unfinished business from last year. So bring on the 2006 schedule…

  9. Key Wins for the dogs.. • The Bulldogs beat some top teams earlier in the season. • They beat then number 10 Oklahoma, then number 15 Arizona State, then number 12 Oregon, and lastly then number 20 Alabama.

  10. Top 25 • These huge wins kept Fresno ranked in the Top 25 throughout the year. • Fresno was once ranked as high as number 17, but now stands at number 23. • These rankings mean nothing, what the softball teams eyes are really set on is another…
