  11. Reputation / Professionalism February 2014 Discrepancies found in two programs’ schedules from October through December, 2013. Involved unreported vacation time and unreported leave of absence. Resulted in misrepresentation and incorrect billing to four different affiliated hospitals. Affected over $5,000 that had been billed to affiliates. Necessitated contact with state agency (UMEC) and affiliates to correct cost reporting data.

Affiliate Bills • Compare schedules to funding agreements for each FTE billed • Provide individual detail based on PGY level, benefits, FICA status and other factors • Can take over two full days to complete • Between 75 – 100 pages each month • Clarify any discrepancies from previous bills and make adjustments, if necessary
