  4. How much of the money contributed to the Annual Fund goes to programs after administration and promotion costs are paid?

  6. In 2011-2012District 7570 contributed$450,000 to the Annual FundThe funds were then investedfor 3 years…..

  7. Year 2014-2015 • $225,000 • Half comes back to District 7570 • DDF = District Designated Funds • Global Grants • District Grants • GSE • $225,000 • Half stays in TRF • Global Grants • Scholarships

  8. So it is the interest made over the 3yr investment cycle that pays for the operation of The Rotary FoundationThat means 100% of every dollar given to TRF goes to programs!

  9. Get your Club involved Set an example: become a “Sustainer” Contribute $100 to TRF’s Annual Fund - SHARE Encourage your Club Members to donate Make it EASY…..bill them quarterly with their dues

  10. Get your Club involved • Show them what their contributions can do • Apply for a grant – Global and/or District • It’s your money – Put it to good use • Participate in the End Polio Now effort • Participate in GSE • Nominate an Ambassadorial Scholar

  11. Honor those who give • Sustainer recognition stickers on badges • Recognize them in your directory and on Dacdb • Hold formal presentations for PHFs

  12. Get Educated! • Learn more about TRF and Grants at upcoming Foundation / Grants Seminars • Look at your club’s Monthly Contribution Reports in the District Newsletter to track your progress throughout the year • Utilize your Area Foundation Advocate

  13. Club President to-do list • Become a sustainer & PHF - lead by example Wear you PHF pin • Get your club excited about Foundation Programs Apply for a District and / or Global Grant • Appoint a Foundation Chair List them on Dacdb and with RI • Make sure your club sends in their contributions at least quarterly Sustainer contributions always to Annual Fund - SHARE
