  2. Introduction • NMAT stands for NMIMS Management Aptitude Test. This is an online entrance exam conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). • Based on the results of this exam, candidates can get admission into Narsee Monjee Institute and 19 other top management institutes in the country. • Every year, numerous students appear for the NMAT exam, and the exam centers are spread across 44 cities in the country and 4 cities internationally.

  3. Eligibility Criteria of NMAT The eligibility criteria for writing this exam are as follows: • Graduates in any discipline with a minimum of 50 % marks. • Final-year graduation students can also apply provided they clear their graduation degree on-time with minimum marks. • Final-year graduates have to submit the necessary documents within the stipulated time. • For MBA in Pharmaceutical Management, students should have a degree in Science, Pharmacy, MBBS, BHMS, BAMS, BDS, B.Sc., or M. Sc. • Management studies in Pharmaceutical Management require minimum 50 % marks. Postgraduates in Sociology, Psychology, and Economics can also apply.

  4. Exam Pattern and Analysis NMAT exam is a two-hour computer-based exam. There are 120 questions from three main sections which test the basic aptitude of the candidates. • Section 1: Quantitative Skills (48 questions) • Section 2: Language Skills (32 questions) • Section 3: Logical Reasoning Skills (40 questions)

NMAT Application Form Filling Procedure • The application process started on 4 July and will remain open until 3 October 2017. • Candidates have to register by filling in their personal and educational details along with work experience (if any). • Candidates need to shortlist their preferred colleges at the time of filling the form. • After filling up all the details, the application fee is to be paid. After submitting all the details, upload the scanned photograph. This will give the candidate a unique user name and password that will let the candidate schedule his/her examination.

  6. NMAT 2017 Counselling • Once the results are announced in the third week of January, the cut-off percentages will be declared by all the participating colleges. • Candidates, who will clear the cut-off, will be called for the next round. • The selection procedure will vary from college to college and will include the personal interview, writing ability test, and group discussion.

  7. Preparation for NMAT • To get in one of the top B-Schools, preparing for the NMAT exam is very essential. The candidate will need to study and practice consistently in order to crack this exam.
