Romans 1:16-17Memory Verse for 10/15 16I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. 17For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”

  3. Romans 1:7 7To all in Rome who are loved by God and called to be saints: • Do you believe you are loved by God? • If we believe, should we become saints? • Matthew 5:17-27 and 48 • John 14:21 Our attempts to behave like saints are often nothing more than whistling in the dark…

  7. 1 Corinthians 11:23-26 23For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, 24and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” 25In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 26For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.
