Poetry Cards . These cards can be used to encourage children to enjoy poetry. They can be laminated to further their life span. These can be read as a class, so that the children are able to learn the poem and remember it.

  1. Poetry Cards These cards can be used to encourage children to enjoy poetry. They can be laminated to further their life span. These can be read as a class, so that the children are able to learn the poem and remember it. They can also be placed in a basket or put a hole punch through the top left corner and thread them all with a ribbon. The images match the text so that children are able to ‘read’ the cardson their own or in groups.

  4. Autumn Leaves One is orange. Two are brown. Three look yellow, On the ground. Three are green. Two bright red. One just fell, Upon my head!

  5. Spring Song Frogs croak Rains soak Chicks peep Crickets leap Bees hum Robins come Birds sing It’s Spring!

  6. Ice creams drip Ocean dip Sun shines bright It’s warm at night Sandy feet Hot car seat Christmas cheer Summers here!
