Grievance Redressal Mechanism • A 24 hour help line at telephone no. 0172-6541673 has been established at the State level. • Complaints received are dealt with at the Head Office, District Office or Schools immediately. • 42 complaints received, mainly regarding misappropriation of foodgrains, non supply of MDM on a particular day or removal of a cook. • Action has been taken on 40 complaints.   29. ISSUES • 6 months delay in releasing of funds by the State Govt. The MI also observed delay in release of cooking cost and honorarium to cook-cum-helpers at school level. Schools are managing it from their own. • Cleaning in the drinking water area is required in 28%-40% of the schools. • The standardized regulators for gas cylinder were not used for cooking in Moga ,Ludhiana and SAS nagar. • Vit.
