Our Work Environment “Oswald (2012), defines the work environment as the physical geographical location such as offices which involve factors like air quality, noise level, employees’ welfare, or even adequate parking.” “A place where work could be performed by individuals it could be physical as well as virtual too.” Example- Virtual offices through google meets. According to ET- Employees now prefer attending office as 62% of employees surveyed said that they prefer Going to office while 28% like to work in hybrid model combination of work from home and office and only 10% preferred permanent work from home according to a survey by flex space Provider the office pass. The term could be defined with the reflection of mainly two elements which are- social and physical reflections where an employee performs a job. These small clustered words play a major role in the make up of- co-operation, efficiency co-ordination, optimum output through minimum input, relationship between employees and health of employees. 1. What are the Social reflections? It is cluster of values, expectations and practices that guide the action of employees at workplace. culture plays a major role in forming the work environment within an organization. Culture represents the consistent behaviour which is authentic in nature within an INDIVIDUAL OR AN EMPLOYEE. 1. What are the Physical reflections?

  2. It is the term which itself reflects “physical or tangible things” it is grouped with the size, layout and location of a workplace. It could be both indoor or outdoor as well at the workplace “Vibes of a particular environment can effect positively or negatively and individual” Therefore, creation of healthy workplace environment becomes a necessary part of an organisation to achieve its goals. New and Improved tactics which can be used for a healthy workplace environment: 1. Proper facilities: Facilitating employees with right amount of light needed, maintenance of temperature at workplace, separate restrooms for employees men/women, Ventilation, accessories and equipments needed, safety at workplace. Considering Corona period all Standard safety measures Should be followed. “People are more conscious about the surroundings of the work as it directly impacts their mindset” 2. Work enjoyment rather than work pressure: In most of the researches it is clearly concluded that optimum output could be obtained if employs or enjoying the work rather than taking it as a burden or just a task of completion. 3. Giving value and importance to the decision making of the employees: Employees will feel more respected and valuable when They are involved in decision making. By doing same, rejuvenation of loyalty of an individual Within an organisation could be done easily. This helps in retainment of the employees too. “To win big, you sometimes have to take big risks”- Bill Gates It says it all, you must have faith and trust on your employes so as to consider their decision making which will ultimately lead you to the path of achievement of goals and objectives of the organisation. 4. Positive environment: Disputes and conflicts within an organisation can disintegrate whole of the organisation. Therefore, such an environment should be created where “diversity can work with unity.”

By protecting employees mental health. 5. Timely breaks: We as a human have certain limits of working.
