Tripura is a small hilly state in the North-Eastern Part of our country. The state Tripura is a mixed culture of Tribal community and the Bengali community. From the main township area to the corner side of Tripura we can see the cultural heritage of Tripura. Agartala is the capital city of Tripura. Agartala is the main center for attraction to the people for all-purpose from education to tourism. Ujjayanta Palace is the prime attraction to the people in the Tripura State situated at the core of Agartala. Now it has become one of the largest museums in the north-eastern part of India.

  2. Neermahal In Bengali “Neermahal” is called as a ‘Water Palace’ and in local Kokborok (tribal) languages it is called as ‘Twijilikma Nuyung’. Former king of Tripura Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Debbarma had been made this royal palace during his kingdom.

  3. Chabimura Chabimura is another Amazing Tourist spot in Tripura. Chabimura is situated in Amarpur subdivision under the Gomati District. It is also situated on the bank of the river Gomati. Chabimura is known as “Chakrakma” in Tribal language. It is an approx distance of 82 kilometer from the capital city Agartala and 30 km distance from Udaipur and from Amarpur it is7.5 km distance

  4. Dumboor Lake: Dumboor Lake is also one of the most beautiful tourist places in Tripura which should be visited. It is a large water reservoir situated in Amarpur sub-division. The lake was named as Dumboor according to the Lord Shiva Name. The area of the lake is approx 42 square kilometers. in between the lake, there were small islands which gives the lake a charming look. During winter season more varieties of migrant birds come there.

  5. Unokoti Unokoti is another tourist spot in Tripura everybody should visit. It is situated in the Kailasahar which is in Unokoti district Tripura. The Word ‘Unokoti’ Means one less than 1 crore. Unokoti also known as Surbai Khung. From the History of Tripura, it is known that Unokoti is 1500 years old. There are also rock curved statues are present. The main rock curved statue is Lord Shiva. Shiva is the main creator of the world. That is why Unokoti is named as Surbai(Shiva) in local Tribal language.

  6. Tripureshwari Temple: Tripura Sundari Temple is situated in Udaipur Under Gomati District. The distance from Agartala is 55 km. Mata Tripureshwari Devi is worshipped in this temple. Our history says that the small finger of the right leg of the Maa Durga is fell here so that this place is known as one of the 51th Sati Pithas.

  7. Chaturdash Devata Temple: Chaturdash Devata Temple is situated at the capital city of Tripura, Agartala. It is a pride of Agartala people. 14 gods and goddesses are worshipped here together in the middle of the month of Iune( In Bengali, called Ashar) . The Priest of this temple called as ‘Chantai’. At that time big festival is celebrated there for 7 days and that festival called as ‘Kharchi Puja’. The architecture style of this temple is like ‘Biddhist’ culture.

  8. Ujjayanta Palace: Ujjayanta Palace is the earliest palace of the Tripura Kingdom. All former king of Tripura state ruled Tripura from there. Now This palace is known as ‘The State Museum Of Tripura’. The view of this palace is great. There are two big lakes on both sides of the lake. Former Maharaja Radha Kishore Manikya Bahadur built this palace after following the Mughal dynasty. Before achieving the glory of “The State Museum of Tripura” it was the Tripura Legislative Assembly office.
