Equipment Growth: Large Jets U.S. fleets will grow from 6,900 to 11,950 AC by 2026 almost 73% growth (Boeing) · 9,140 new AC X 12 pilots/AC = 109,680 new pilots The world fleet will double from 18,000 to 36,420 AC by 2026 100% growth (Boeing) · 18,190 new AC X 12 pilots/AC = 218,280 new pilots 28,600 world deliveries over next 20 years for growth & retirement · 32% will be delivered to North America · 29% to Asia; and · 23% to Europe. (Boeing)

  7. Equipment Growth: Cargo World cargo fleet is expected to almost double from 1,980 freighters in 2006 to 3,980 freighters by 2026. Wide bodies will make up 64% of the fleet, 75% will be conversions, and 25 % will be new aircraft. Air cargo is expected to grow 6.1% annually resulting in a tripling of freight tin-kilometers and fleet by 2026.
