  2. What are we doing? • We are going to first make a prediction. • We will then perform our experiment . • During this experiment we will be: • Measuring • Observing • Predicting • Communicating

  3. After the experiment • Completing our worksheet. • Classifying • Evaluating

Directions • Clear your desks of everything except the provided handout, materials and a pencil from 1 group member. • Put on your clear gloves latex free • 1 Representative from the group will go to cornstarch station and measure out 1 cup and then place it into the clear bowl. • 1 Representative from the group will go to the sink and measure out 1 cup of water and then add it to the bowl with the cornstarch. • 1 representative will add 5 drops of food coloring, color of your choice, to the clear bowl. • Use the popsicle stick to thoroughly mix together the ingredients in the bowl. • Keep mixing if everything is not completely mixed together • Complete the chart on the back
