Summary: • 5 counties, 15 agencies, 4 hospls, 1 PCI hospl • PCI STEMI protocol with LGH & Carilion • Strengths: • High career and ALS; CCPT coverage • Weaknesses: • Montgomery, Giles & Floyd pred volunteer & EMT-I/BLS trained • Pulaski 33% equipped with 12 lead • Lack of OMD support for providers obtaining and reading 12 lead in 5/15 units • Opportunities: • Training for Floyd, Giles & Montgomery • Funding for add’nl EKG’s, esp Pulaski • Meet with OMD’s WESTERN VA EMS • Planning District 4 • Carillion Giles Memorial Hospital • Carilion New River Valley Memorial Medical Center • Montgomery Regional Hospital • Pulaski Community Hospital 1 3 4 2

Summary: • 6 counties, 24 agencies, 3 hospls, 2 PCI hospls • PCI STEMI protocol with LGH & Carilion • Strengths: • Roanoke City, Co and Salem high % career & ALS providers with min equipment needs • High presence of CCPT • BCES very strong despite 10% career in county • Weaknesses: • Alleghany & Craig depend on volunteers • Poorly equipped; training basic • Geographic prob: roads, mountains & internet • Opportunities: • Alleghany & Craig need 12 leads & training • Interest in transmission tech and “Moodle” • Meet with selected OMD’s WESTERN VA EMS • Planning District 5 • Alleghany Regional Hospital • Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital • Lewis-Gale Medical Center 1 3 2

Summary: • 4 counties, 21 agencies, 4 hospls, 1 PCI hospl • PCI STEMI protocol with LGH, Carilion, Moses Cone in Greensboro • Strengths: • FCDPS strong leadership, active career providers equipped with LP 12 units • CCPT coverage for CFMH • Weaknesses: • Other 3 counties depend on volunteers • Low % EKG’s in Pittsylv & Henry Co; 11 w/o • OMD Henry Co not supportive of 12 lead program • Opportunities: • Meet with Patrick and Pittsylv providers regarding training and 12 lead needs • Meet with selected OMD’s Henry Co • LP 15 units for FCDPS; rotate LP 12’s; training WESTERN VA EMS • Planning District 12 • Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital • Danville Regional Medical Center • Memorial Hospital of Martinsville & Henry County • Pioneer Community Hospital 1 3 4 2
