  6. Flamingos • They are 3-5 feet in height, they filter feed on shellfish and algae. • Because flamingos have long legs, they can wade into much deeper water than most other birds. Eastern brown pelican • They are large marine bird found mainly in North Carolina, South Carolina, Louisiana, and Florida. • They reach the weight of over 8 pounds and a length of over 4 feet. • The brown pelican has an 18-inch long bill and large throat pouch.   12. Wood pecker • Black with a white belly.
