INTOXICAÇÃO ALCOÓLICA - DIAGNÓSTICO • Estado provocado por ingestão aguda de bebidas alcoólicas • Efeito: concentração sérica x tolerância • Alterações neurológicas: embriaguez (0,03 mg %) - astenia - coma - depressão respiratória - morte (> 0,4mg%) • Alterações comportamentais: Inadequação sexual, agressividade (intoxicação patológica), labilidade emocional, juízo crítico comprometido, prejuízo social e ocupacional

INTOXICAÇÃO ALCOÓLICA - TRATAMENTO • Ambiente protegido / seguro • Descanso • Cuidados para não aspirar vômitos • Excluir problemas orgânicos: TCE, hipoglicemia, cetoacidose, infecção sistêmica, overdose de outras drogas • Lavagem gástrica e diálise são raramente recomendados • NÃO CONTRIBUIR COM A POTENCIAL DEPRESSÃO RESPIRATÓRIA DO PACIENTE. SE NECESSÁRIO CONTENÇÃO QUÍMICA, USAR APENAS HALOPERIDOL
