You do not know what wars are going on down there where the spirit meets the bone.”- Miller Williams • Identify a ‘baseline’ for each child. • Identify Protective Factors • Learn the cultural norms of each family • Engage with empathy • Normalize emotional regulation practices • Engage caregivers • Ensure that each child is someone’s responsibility
