DATA PRESENTATION AND SEASONAL ADJUSTMENT - Background to work - • Flowed out of 2002 STESEG meeting • Task force on data presentation &SA presented initial work at 2003 STESEG – covering 8 presentation issues • Focus of task force work on three of these – terminology; growth rates; presentation of seasonally adjusted data • Work incorporated into draft Data and Metadata Reporting and Presentation Manual

DATA PRESENTATION AND SEASONAL ADJUSTMENT - Data and Metadata Reporting & Presentation Manual - • Will be the focus of future work on data presentation and SA • Comments from STESEG will be incorporated into future version • Presented to CCSA (I/Os) in September • Revised version to be discussed at UNSC in March 2005 • Final version to be approved by OECD Statistics Committee in June 2005
