  2. 2 Guru Sandipan’s Ashram. Krishna became Ruler of Dwarka. Sudama remained a poor Brahmin.

  3. 3 Meet your old friend Krishna. Sudama reluctantly went to meet his old friend. Small bag of beaten rice as present for Krishna.

  4. 4 Sudama reached Dwarka dressed in Rags. Guard told Krishna of his friends arrival.

  5. 5 Krishna ran bare-foot to meet Sudama.

  6. 6 Krishna seated Sudama on a comfortable chair. Krishna washed and pressed his tired feet.

  7. 7 Sudama hesitated to give him the beaten rice. Sudama reluctantly gave him the rice. Krishna began to eat the rice.

  8. 8 Sudama started getting rid of his poverty as Krishna ate the rice. Queen Rukmini grabbed the hand of Krishna to stop from eating another morsel.

  9. 9 Sudama left the palace next morning with no gift from Krishna. But a magnificent palace stood in place of his old hut. His wife and children wore fine clothes. Such was Krishna’s love for his old friend.

  10. Conclusion • Lord Krishna does not differentiate between people based on their wealth. • He always rewards the true devotion. • We should not expect anything free in life. • God always provides us for our good deeds.
