  2. These three verbs in Spanish work differently than the regular verbs we have studied so far. Read along with this explanation to find out why. Gustar means “to like”, Aburrir means “to bore”, Interesarmeans “to interest”. Unlike other verbs these 3 verbs use only 2 forms: SingularPlural gustagustan aburreaburren interesainteresan The form you choose depends on the object of the verb. If the object is singular then you use the singular form and if the object is plural you use the plural form.

  4. Let’ssee how itworks: Me/to me I like baseball. Baseball is the object of the verb and is singular. Me gustabéisbol. I like sports. Sports are the object of the verb and are plural. Me gustandeportes.

  5. Le/tohim, to her, toyour Science interests him. Science is the object of the verb and is singular. Le interesaciencia. Sports interest her. Sports are the object of the verb and are plural. Le interesandeportes.

  6. Nos/tous High school bores us. High school is the object of the verb and is singular. Nosaburre el colegio. Classes bore us. Classes are the object of the verb and are plural. Nosaburrenlas classes.
