Chemical Reactions and Equations; • Law of conservation of mass, types of reactions, oxid/redux reactions, the mole, stoichiometry, heat energy and reactions • Gases; gas laws • Solutions; • Concentration, acids and bases, neutralization • Chemical Equilibrium and Kinetics; • Dynamic balance, reaction rates

  4. Lab safety and textbooks • Students are required to study safety contract rules • Receive/earn a lab license • Practice safety in chemistry lab with glassware and chemicals • Textbook Chemistry, by Glencoe • Numerous resources on line

  8. Physical and biological evidence studied • Fingerprints, hair, fiber, DNA, blood spatter, glass, document examination, chromatography, index of refraction, anthropology, ballistics and firearms and more!

  10. SUPA registration • Syracuse registration online • Syracuse will bill you directly • $440 for 4 credits • Students have access to media resources • Most schools will accept-portfolio-advocate • NO DIFFERENCE in student requirements at RDHS • Submit signed registration form to me ASAP
