  3. MD Plug-ins • JSSApplication Plug-in (Java or XML) • Graphical description of jobs • JSS Tool Plug-in • Modifies description of jobs for the need of specific tool (Marmot, OCMG) • Visualisation Tool Plug-in • Allows to visualise output from jobs

  4. Common view on filesystems • Virtual Directory • Local filesystems • Storage Elements (GridFTP) • GridFTP private storage • FTP • Soon – replica management on SEs

  5. Parallel Jobs • It is possible to sumit jobs with types: • MPI • MPICH • MPICH-G2

  6. Interactivity • Semi-interactive jobs • Prototype VNC interactivity with HEP

  7. Problems • If Job does not submit or fails it does not mean that Migrating Desktop does not work !!! - problems with connection to RB - problems with user credentials - problems with running jobs on CE (globus sometimes returns strange errors)

  8. Known bugs • Problems with RAS (Job Submission Module) which sometimes mixes credentials when more than job is submitted in tehe same time. (Datamat is correcting this now) • Problems with transfering files to some destinations (passive/active mode, firewall)

  9. Future plans • RLS/Replica Manager support • Focus on interactivity support • Improvement of security of our product • Speed optimalisation • Multiple RAS servers support • Improvement of GUI/functionality for Job Submission, adding job templates, cascades support
