Membership • FFA Dues • $11 per student in 2010-2011 • $7 for national dues and $4 for state dues • Send all dues money to the State FFA Office • Roster and dues should be submitted to the State FFA Office no later than October 15. • Supplemental rosters can be submitted later in the year for teachers who add new students in the 2nd semester. • Students must have their name on the roster AND dues received at least 10 days prior to participating above the chapter level.

Membership • FFA Dues • Step-by-Step guide to using the online roster system is posted on the Georgia FFA website. • www.georgiaffa.org • Click on the “Membership Guidelines” tab on the left side • Rosters become active for add/renew on September 10. • Please DO NOTmake any additions or renewals prior to Sept 10. • If you don’t have your chapter number and password, contact the State FFA Office at (706) 552-4456.

National Convention • State housing block is at the Sheraton downtown. • Rates are $380 per adults (2 per room) and $195 per student (4 to a room) • All rooms are reserved for 4 nights (Tuesday – Saturday) • Very few rooms remaining the in the block! • National FFA does have a rooming block available. • Registration fee is $40 for those in FFA room block, and $50 for those outside of FFA block. • Online registration is open. It closes Oct 1. • $50 for all registration completed onsite. • Be sure to register ALL participants for Convention!

Updates for 2010-2011 • Chapters should upload their POA on their AgEd portals by October 15. • Do not mail hard copies to State FFA Office or your Region Office. • State and American Degree candidates need to include community service hours on applications in 2011. • List the Community Service hours in the School and Community Activities section of the application. • 25 hours for State Degree candidates; 50 hours for American Degree candidates. • Hours should come from ANY 3 community service activities a student has been involved in (not exclusive to FFA projects). • Students must show participation in a minimum of 3 projects to complete their hours .
