QSMA Benchmark Study ‘Agile Impact Report’ Data Points: Presented at Agile 2008 in Toronto QSM/QSMA SLIM-Metrics benchmarking from 7,500 traditional projects (plan-based and waterfall) across 500 organizations and 18 countries Looked at three key areas: Productivity Quality Time to market Benchmarked 26 Agile projects – 8 of which were executed by 5 Rally customers Main Participants: Moody’s Financial BMC Software Accuro Healthcare HomeAway CNET Agile Teams were 37% faster in delivering software to market and 16% more productive – compared to industry averagewith ¼ of the expected defects. Rally teams were 50% faster to market and 25% more productive.
