  2. 17So if you consider me a partner, welcome him as you would welcome me. 18 If he has done you any wrong or owes you anything, charge it to me. 19 I, Paul, am writing this with my own hand. I will pay it back—not to mention that you owe me your very self. 20 I do wish, brother, that I may have some benefit from you in the Lord; refresh my heart in Christ. • 21 Confident of your obedience, I write to you, knowing that you will do even more than I ask. (cont’d) • --Philemon 1:17-25

  3. 22 And one thing more: Prepare a guest room for me, because I hope to be restored to you in answer to your prayers. • 23 Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus, sends you greetings. 24 And so do Mark, Aristarchus, Demas and Luke, my fellow workers. • 25 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. • --Philemon 1:17-25

  4. Fully forgive

  5. 18If he has done you any wrong or owes you anything, charge it to me. 19 I, Paul, am writing this with my own hand. I will pay it back—not to mention that you owe me your very self. • --Philemon 1:18-19

  6. 12Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. • --Colossians 3:12-14

  11. Jesus empowersus to love

  12. 12No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. 13 This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. • --1 John 4:12-13 (NIV)

  13. Willing to work together

  14. 10…I appeal to you for my son Onesimus, who became my son while I was in chains. 11 Formerly he was useless to you, but now he has become useful both to you and to me. • --Philemon 1:10-11 (NIV)

  15. 9Two are better than one, • because they have a good return for their labor: • 10 If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. • But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. • 11 Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. • But how can one keep warm alone? • 12 Though one may be overpowered, • two can defend themselves. • A cord of three strands is not quickly broken. • --Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 (NIV)

  16. 12 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. 13 This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. --1 John 4:12-13 (NIV)

  17. 12Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. • --John 14:12-14 (NIV)
